The Magazine Of The Modern Man

Growing up, when I first touched a skateboard at like 9/10 I wasn't the best, me and this other neighbourhood kid used to just roll back and forth on the road all day, learning, racing - whatever, until one day. This little fat German kid, Andy came by, I wont forget this kid - this guy was about 14/15 at the time, and just a mean son of a bitch... anyways.. he saw us skating and he came by and was like "yo let me try it, you fools ain't doin it right!" - well this guy gets both his murderous feet on my board and jumps in the middle right up and comes down on it and breaks the deck right in half. Man what a piece of shit... I never told my parents cause they would just get mad, that this new skateboard they just bought was busted already... anyways, a few times after that when i got older I got a board and skated a few more times, but havent done it in awhile, finally my board is back and I'm just going to cruise. I'm going for speed again.

Anwyays, I was just checkin out skateboard photos from the 1970's because like everything else - the evolution in the past 40 years fhas been stagerring - for every industry! ENJOY
