O-GEN-KI-DES-KA

I am back in TORONTO, quickly realizing that travelling is addicting...
After travelling to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Tokyo... I realized that the destinations are memorable, but the friends made on the way change you for life.

I got to admit, I met some real cool people while I was away, English, Aussie, French, Cambodians, Americans and of course Canadians. They are the memories you will take with you when you reflect back in 2-3 years. For some reason, when you think about that temple you will remember it, sure, but you won't have the same feeling as you get when you remembered that lunatic friend who got in a 2 hour tube ride in Laos without sun tan lotion... or the guy who always wore a Panda hat in the downtown core.

Or partying into the wee hours in the morning in local clubs in Laos, sleeping in the chiefs hut, drinking whiskey at every opportunity, saying goodbyes and see you laters. It's not that sad, because you know you will see the people you want again, once you travel you dont stop you just gain new friends in future locations :)
